THE CAMPAIGN FOR RIVERS
Together, we make the future.
The Campaign for Rivers
is the school's most ambitious fundraising initiative. FutureMakers will keep Rivers moving forward in its mission to prepare students for leadership in a world that needs their talents, imagination, intellect, and compassion. New facilities. Innovative programs. Increased financial aid. Faculty development. These are our building blocks for tomorrow.
In addition to providing funding for the construction of the The Revers Center for Science and Visual Arts, which will open its doors in January 2020, the campaign will help fund the transformation of existing spaces that will be reimagined to meet the needs of the Middle School and the Upper School humanities departments.
The school’s endowment is used to support financial aid, faculty development, and the creation of innovative new programs that strengthen and deepen the Rivers educational experience.
The annual fund accounts for 10% of the school’s annual operating budget. Used to fund academic and co-curricular activities, it has a direct impact on the experience of current students and faculty.
IMPACT THE WORLD.
Great schools don’t stand still. Though Rivers is already a recognized leader in education with its innovative, interdisciplinary curriculum, we know we can do more. We are committed to transforming the world by preparing our students to be thoughtful, engaged citizens and creative, compassionate leaders. The FutureMakers campaign reinforces who we are, and recognizes what we can be.
THE TIME IS NOW
This is a milestone moment in Rivers history. A transformational moment that will lay the foundation for the school’s future and impact the lives of students for decades to come. The world needs what Rivers students have to offer. And Rivers students need you to prepare them for the work that lies ahead.
Because FutureMakers is a comprehensive campaign, all donations to Rivers are considered gifts to the campaign. This includes gifts to The Rivers Fund, capital projects, the endowment, unrestricted gifts, and planned gifts.
